OUR TEAM

LEANDRE PICHETTE-AURAY

Founder / Kinesiologist

Active by nature and with a strong competitive spirit, I've always had a passion for team sports, physical training and coaching. My determination and energy enabled me to play on field hockey, soccer and other sports teams for over a decade. It was when I joined the Champlain-Lennoxville College Cougars that I discovered I had a real passion for soccer. It was also at this point that physical training became a more important part of my life. I pursued my soccer career for 4 seasons at university level with the Université de Montréal Carabins, while completing my bachelor's degree in kinesiology.

To set myself apart as a physical trainer, I also took training courses recognized in the sports world with the Poliquin Group and Joe DeFranco. My technical knowledge, leadership and great adaptability enable me to help you achieve concrete physical goals. The customer experience is also an essential part of my business philosophy, which is why it's important for me to tailor every workout to your needs.

DAVID MÉNARD

Partner / Kinesiologist

My passion for training and physical preparation developed through my soccer career. Having started in 2004, I've constantly strived to improve and perform to the best of my ability. With this determination and work ethic, I completed an all-star college and university career, in addition to obtaining my bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the Université de Montréal. I've been playing in the Canadian Football League for the B.C. Lions since 2014, where I was drafted, and I continue to deepen my training knowledge to ensure the best preparation from one season to the next (including CPPS Level 1 with Joe DeFranco and CFSC Level 1 with Mike Boyle).

I'm more than aware of what it means to have a specific goal, and to be ready to give everything to get there. I always keep this in mind when I work, and I would never give a workout that I would personally avoid as a professional athlete.

TOM BEGUE

Sports massage therapist and trainer

Originally from Saint-Denis on Reunion Island, I arrived in Quebec just over 10 years ago. Sporty and passionate about sports from an early age, I've been a rugby player, an avid surfer and now take up Crossfit. I pursued my career in the healthcare field in Montreal after studying in Saguenay. What finally convinced me to pursue a career in sports massage therapy was my desire to contribute to the personal development of my clients through the physical and mental well-being that sport brings them. My empathy, ability to listen and adaptability enable me to provide personalized care. For some years now, I've been putting my expertise to good use with swimming and dragon boat teams. I also work with amateur athletes, pregnant women and symptomatic clients.

BIANKA DÉRY

Kinesiologist

Physical activity has always been part of my life. I'm the kind of person who's very active, doesn't sleep much and rarely feels like sitting still for a whole afternoon! I started gymnastics at the age of 3 and it became a real passion. Not only could I burn off energy, but it also gave me discipline and a great work ethic. After that, I dabbled in all kinds of team sports. I like being around people, I like working as part of a team. Over the years, I've come to realize that sport not only gives me self-confidence, but also physical and psychological well-being. It's my outlet. In fact, I really enjoy working on this aspect with my customers. As the mother of two children, I need to move around to be mentally available for them. Since the birth of my children, I've become very interested in pre- and post-partum training and body recomposition, especially for women. I have a caring approach, good listening skills and an excellent ability to adapt, which enable me to help my clients achieve their goals.

NICOLAS LEDUC-SAVARD

Nutritionist

A gourmand since 1992, I thought I wanted to be a chef. Creating my first cookbook at the age of 17, I realized that what I love even more than cooking is understanding how to use food to its full potential. After a bachelor's degree in nutrition, a master's and 2 years at the doctoral level, I started my private nutrition practice to help all types of clients, whether their goal is to improve their relationship with food or win an ultramarathon. I also teach undergraduate courses in kinesiology and nutrition at the Université de Montréal, and supervise undergraduate trainees in nutrition before they enter the job market. Through all this, I feed a community hungry for information presented in a fun way on my social networks. My brand-new book "Recettes Véganes pour Gens Actifs" (Vegan Recipes for Active People) brings together my advice on sports nutrition and specialized recipes for people who like to get moving. Despite my thousand and one projects, I'm still as gourmand as ever.
